Valerio D’Angelo, born in 1993, is an artist based in Rome.

Trained in the field of restoration, specializing in decorative techniques baroque such as gilding and lacquering, at the Nazzareno Fontana Restauri workshop in Rome.

Today this same knowledge is in practice acquired, overturned and revolutionized in a job that always places the ancient in communication with the contemporary, confusing time and technique executive, shaped and overturned in the needs of a contemporary and modern expression.

His artistic practice is mainly expressed through sculpture and installation, through the material experimentation.

The artist focuses in particular on the dimension of time, the relationship between the ancient and contemporary and on the mutual stratifications, evident in the objects, in the landscapes, in the places and in the collective imagination.
